Not too many real-life hockey (or otherwise) stories end in a Hollywood fashion the way that Teemu Selänne's did. Over the course of his career, he dealt with injuries, a fading spirit, a lost season (although this gave him the time he needed to recuperate) and over-zealous player obstruction, which was finally outlawed. He truly fought like hell (in nearly every sense) to overcome the odds and FINALLY win that f'n cup - it only took 1041 NHL games. Oh...and he still going!
