Kyle Wellwood's goal (8 seconds in) in game 4 (against the Penguins) of the season tied the franchise record for quickest goal (Ronald Petrovicky of the old Thrashers set it on Dec. 20, 2003, also against Pittsburgh). The goal helped to give the Jets 2.0 their first victory: 2-1.
