Awards and Achievements:

Cormier represented Canada in the following international tournaments:

World Junior Championships
Gold medal - Ottawa 2009 (Current Winnipeg Jet Evander Kane also played for the team.)
Silver medal - Saskatoon 2010 (Patrice served as Captain.)

Cormier was traded to the Thrashers along with Niclas Bergfors, Johnny Oduya & a first round draft pick (Aleksandr Burmistrov) for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Ilya Kovalchuk - February 4, 2010.
